My dearest friend Allahyarham Mazen Omar Chaker, my heart is really aching right now. I’m still in a great shock & total disbelief that you are now gone. I’ve never thought of meeting you in a mortuary, lying down cold like that. I wished it was just a nightmare and I could eventually wake up from it.

But I’m certain that Allah SWT has got better plans for you by His side.

I had the absolute pleasure of knowing & befriending you for the past 5+ years. We laughed at one another’s jokes, we poked fun at each other endlessly and had the loudest, contagious laughters that only us two could understand.

We also shared about our current & future plans, dreams, not to forget so many sweet, funny, unforgettable memories together, too.

Mazen, you had been the sweetest, most polite, generous, genuinely caring & loving friend to me all these years and I shall cherish you in my memories till the end of time.

Rest well, my dear sweet brother. You have fully served your purpose in this world. Something greater awaits you in Akhirat. Till we meet again in Jannah, Insya Allah.
